What is Black Tie Ski Rentals?

Black Tie Ski Rentals and Delivery is Whistler’s longest-running Premier Ski and Snowboard Rental Delivery Service. Forget ski shop lines and hassle, and let us come to you! We’ll deliver a custom fit in the comfort of your accommodation, complete with insider information on the best places to ski and ride the mountains and the perfect places to unwind after your day on the hill. After we have everything fitting just right, we’ll deliver your gear to the secure storage within your accommodation – leaving you more time to relax and start enjoying your vacation!

How does it work?

We’re here to work with your schedule! Choose the most convenient time to get fitted with your gear, whether it’s upon arrival or the morning of your first snow day. Think of us as your full-time ski concierge, and anything you require is just a phone call away.

Our ownership team has a combined 30+ years of experience in Whistler, and we want to make sure you get everything out of your ski holiday.

How is the equipment distributed and what are your hours of operation?

We have a large warehouse and multiple delivery vehicles that are fully stocked with equipment. Our hours of operation are longer than most ski shops in Whistler, with custom fits any time between 7:30am and 10:00pm. Evening fittings are recommended as it allows you to hit the slopes first thing the next morning.

How do I make a reservation?

There are 3 easy ways to make a ski rental reservation with Black Tie:

  1. Online – where our state-of-the-art reservation system is both easy to use and secure.
  2. Call our Whistler location directly and let one of our professional staff walk you through the process.
  3. Email – you can call or email us and we will send you the form. Just fill it out and fax it back.

How do we return the gear?

Simply leave your gear in your lodging property’s ski storage facility, or call to set up a convenient time for us to pick it up.

What if I want to change equipment or have a problem?

Unlike stationary ski shops, Black Tie Ski Rentals is able to meet you on the slopes with new equipment or to fix any problems you may be having. Remember, we’re just a phone call away!

How do our rates compare to other rental shops?

Our rates are competitive with all of the local shops in Whistler, but if you happen to find a better rate for a similar package, we’ll match it with the added service of complimentary in-room fittings.

What if we need to rent ski clothing & ski accessories?

Time to replace those out-dated, worn ski accessories? Each fitting carries a variety of goggles, gloves, socks, and anything else you need to complete your ski vacation in style and comfort. No need to book ahead – let the shop come to you!

How many people do I need for a group?

Traditionally, groups consists of at least 15 people and you should contact the Whistler office directly to discuss any group discounts that may be applicable.
